The Issue with Aftermarket Suspensions is, that many aftermarket Brands for the RX8, such as K-Sport, D2, Megan Racing, Riaction, Versus Sport, God Speed, BC Racing, Neomax, RE Amemiya, and Cusco, replace the original strut mount with a shortened version. This change leads to the upper chassis mounting points being unused, increasing the load on the floor pan. Our strut bar support utilizes the original mounting points, reinforcing the floor plate. This horizontal connection between the two supports prevents deformation of the floor pan. The strut bar is designed to keep the suspensions compression/rebound adjustment (if available) accessible. It's also suitable for use with the original strut mounts, even without a coilover suspension. The Ski Pass remains functional, and the strut bar connections are mostly concealed behind the original trunk cover, preserving the vehicle's interior aesthetics.
